JEREMIAH JOHNSON

SENIOR

Before attending Fortuna Union High School, Jeremiah attended all of the schools in the Fortuna area. He first attended Rohner, then Toddy Thomas, South and Town schools.

His first sport was basketball at the age of five through the Fortuna Parks & Recreation Center. That was followed by years of soccer, Little League, Babe Ruth, football, and a lot more basketball. Basketball has always been his favorite sport. Jeremiah received a first place award in a free throw contest at one of the Chico Basketball Camps that he attended. He received an MVP Medal at an eighth grade basketball tournament. He also won a second place in a three point contest last year at Hoopsters.

Academics do not come naturally to Jeremiah. Art has always been his favorite class but he also enjoys learning how to work on his Jeep in Auto Shop. His favorite teacher is Mr. Lesku, who is his present History teacher, although History is not one of his favorite subjects.

He does not belong to any clubs at the present time, although he does want to join Lost Coast 4 X 4's. Other interest besides sports are skiing (both snow and water), swimming, hunting, fishing, white water rafting, and four wheeling. He always likes to work on fixing up his Jeep.

His goal for the future is to attend College of the Redwoods and play more Basketball.

Jeremiah would like to thank his family, especially his brother, Jason, who has always been a positive influence and has spent many hours on the basketball court with him.

Jeremiah's advice for future players would be to keep a positive attitude no matter what happens and to stay focused on your goals, and practice.
