Phillip likes all
kinds of sports, but he has been playing basketball since the sixth grade.
Phillip played for Rio Dell Elementary School. Phillips says that the best year was the seventh grade, when
he played on a team coached by John Dimmick and they won first place in their
league. During his eight grade year
Rio Dell place second in the league.
Phillip is proud of his freshman and sophomore years. While playing at Fortuna High School his teams tied for first place in the league.
Phillip says that he has been playing basketball one third of his life; that’s from the sixth to eleventh grades. Phillip says that he is not really interested in playing other sports competitively at school. His has focused on basketball and works hard to developed his playing abilities. During his time on basketball teams Phillip has always played center. Phillip enjoys playing in the paint!
Phillips tries to be a role model for younger kids and has been maintaining a 3.0 GPA at Fortuna High School. Phillip would like to thank his parents Dan and Helen for all their support over the years and giving him the opportunities to play basketball.As for the future Phillip plans on attending a junior college, then transferring to a four-year school. Phillip wants to pursue an education in Computer Programming.
