Kyle started
playing basketball at the age of six outside his grandparent’s house.
He then played sixth grade basketball at Toddy Thomas.
Kyle continued through the eight grade at Toddy Thomas, winning several
All-Tournament awards. Once in high
school he sat out his freshman year. During
his sophomore year he came back to basketball as a starting shooting guard and
winning the MVP award at the Fortuna Tournament.
In his
junior year he joined the Varsity team staring again as a shooting guard.
This year Kyle plans on starting at the same position for the Fortuna
Huskies.
Along with
playing basketball, Kyle has played football all four years, two on the junior
varsity and two on the varsity squad. During
his freshman and sophomore years he started a t quarterback.
During his junior and senior years he also started as quarterback,
helping the team to reach the north Coast Section playoffs.
After high
school Kyle plans on attending a junior college in southern California.
Kyle would like to go out of the area to school so he can see a bit of
the world.
When Kyle is
not playing basketball or in school he likes to spend his time in the outdoors.
It really does not matter if Kyle is 4-wheeling, fishing or camping, he
enjoys the open spaces.
Greg and Traci, Kyle’s parents have supported him in his endeavors and Kyle wants to let them know that he appreciates them being there for him.
