Bruce Fredrickson


JUNIOR

Bruce started playing basketball in the fifth grade while he attended Toddy Thomas Elementary School.  Bruce played basketball with the Hornets for the next two years.  Bruce moved schools in the seventh grade, and continued to play basketball at his new school, Fortuna Town School.  Bruce played basketball for Town school in his seventh and eight grade years.  While playing for Town school Bruce won several awards for his basketball abilities.  

Bruce is very dedicated to playing basketball playing every day rain or shine.  Bruce has taken every opportunity to attend basketball camps, such as St. Mary's, to improve his game.  

During Bruce's freshman year he was moved up to the Junior Varsity Team, because of basketball skills.  Unfortunately Bruce let his grades slip and became ineligible.  Bruce continued to play basketball on a daily basis to keep his skill level up.  During his sophomore years Bruce continued to work on his basketball and his academics.  

Bruce says that he enjoying his History class with Ms. Gold; he finds this class is really interesting.  Now that Bruce is in his junior year and has his grades up he is hoping for a successful year.  He feels that the Varsity Team is up for a good season, the team is full of confidence and he wants to be a contributing member of the team.   When not playing basketball Bruce likes to "Hang out" with his friends.

Bruce says that his older brother, Brian has given him the confidence to play basketball and get on with his schooling and would like to take this time to thank him.
