Johanna Petersen

JUNIOR

Johanna lives in Loleta on a dairy. Living on a dairy all her life has taught her responsibility and to stay with something she has started. Johanna enjoys living on a dairy because she has her own space and there's always something exciting happening when her dad's around. From cutting the tip of his finger off to just joking around, she loves the country and she'd never trade it for the city.

Also living in the country means she can have lots of animals. She has four cats Kosher, Boomer, Emmitt and Gordy. Johanna's Grandmother and Grandfather, who live next door just got a new St. Bernard puppy named Candy. Johanna also has three family dogs. Sally and Whipper are cow dogs and the guard dog "Teka" is a Rottweiler.

Johanna loves all sports. In grammar school she played them all. Her two favorites are basketball and softball. She was the first girl ever to earn MVP for girls at Loleta Elementary. Last year Johanna received HDN Honorable Mention for softball, and this year she was the captain of the junior powder - puff team. When she gets older she would like to coach either basketball or softball.

In school Johanna's favorite subject is Woodshop. This year she is making a queen size bed and matching nightstands. Next year she plans to build making a matching dresser. Because of her interest in design and architecture. She hopes to someday operate and own a furniture shop. Maybe in the future you'll see her name "Johanna Petersen" on some of your finest furniture.

Johanna would like to thank her Mother, Father, John, Robin, Chris, Don, Dannielle and the rest of her family and friends for their love and support. "I Love you guys!"
