Kendall has enjoyed playing sports ever
since she was young. She was born in Santa Rosa and moved to Carlotta her 5th
grade year. She has played softball ever since she was 5 years old, but didn't
start playing basketball or volleyball until she went to Cuddeback Elementary.
She also participated in Little League through Fortuna when she moved here. Her
8th grade year, Kendall was selected MVP of the Crescent City Tournament and
Trinity Valley Tournament. Her freshman year she played on the Junior Varsity
team for Fortuna High and was selected MVP of the team by her teammates. Her
freshman year, 2001, she also won an All-tourney Award at the Yvonne Rocha
Tournament at Fortuna High. Her sophomore and junior year she played Varsity at
Fortuna High and was selected Best Defense by her teammates both years.
Kendall has also enjoyed playing volleyball and softball. She
played two years of J.V. volleyball at Fortuna High and one year on Varsity. She
has played Varsity softball for three years and plans to play this coming
spring. Her sophomore year she was selected MVP of the Humboldt Del-Norte League
(H-DN). Her junior year she was awarded an All- County star for the H-DN League.
Her sophomore and junior year she was voted Best Offense by her teammates.
Academically, Kendall has maintained a 3.5 GPA since her freshman year and was
the Salutatorian at Cuddeback Elementary. She is a member of California
Scholarship Federation (CSF) and Future Farmers of America (FFA). She was
recently accepted to Chico State University, where she plans to attend college
in the fall of 2003.
Kendall would like to thank everyone who has helped her along
the way, especially, her coaches for their guidance and encouragement. She would
also like to thank her family for always supporting her and being her #1 fans.
She would like to give a shout out to all of her friends and her sister for
always being there for her.
