Matthew 8:23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Life has its twists and turns. It is important
to know that God is there beside us, especially through our trials. He doesn't
try us, but allows us to be tempered with the trials that are set before us
as humans. He wants us to be strong in our faith, and wants nothing more than
the best for us. Although we may fail, he forgives our sins. He knows we
are human, and will sometimes falter. Gods love for us has no end. God loves
us so much that he gave his only son to die on the cross to cover our sins.
What a wonderful gift. As good Christians,
we should be compelled to act in accordance with his wishes,as a child would
for their parent. We must be responsible for our actions, but
if we ask forgiveness and truely repent, God forgives our sins through his
son Jesus.
