INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHIES

ROB HEWITT: Director of LBJ Enterprises and former president of the local Redwood Region Audubon Society.  A professional Wildlife Biologist,  Rob has promoted birdwatching throughout the area including both the Godwit Days and Aleutian Goose Migration Festivals.  Rob’s enthusiastic and easygoing character has helped many gain an appreciation of birds.

STEVE TUCKER:  A college sophmore who has impressed us all with his exceptional birding skills as an LBJ technician for the past four years.  Originally from Southern California, he assisted in the Ventura section of the American Birding Association Guide to Birding Southern California.

TRISTAN MCKEE:  A recent arrival in Humboldt, and a student at CR, Tristan brings a wealth of experience from his home back in San Mateo.  Tour guide for Shearwater Journeys and a member of the California Bird Records Committee, he is a welcome addition to the LBJ Crew.

Small groups and informal style makes birders SMILE!
