Founded in 1986, CIEC Exhibition Company (Hong Kong) Ltd. is a Hong Kong-based branch of China International Exhibition Group Corporation (CIEC) under China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

In the past decades, parallel to the continuous development of China' s economy, CIEC Exhibition Company (Hong Kong) Ltd. has been growing in the exhibition industry. With the success of trade fairs such as China Print, China Foodtech, Stonetech, CIP, Medical China, ILOPE held regularly in China's major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Kunming, CIEC Exhibition Co. (Hong Kong) Ltd. has become a well-known professional trade fair organizer. Each year, the company holds more than 10 events, mainly in Beijing and Shanghai, covering several industries and hosting approximately 1,000 overseas exhibitors and tens of thousands of professional and trade visitors from China and abroad.

In recent years, following the request of domestic market, CIEC Exhibition Company (Hong Kong) Ltd. has developed some new projects: Floor Coverings, Rehabilitation China, Meat Expo, Personal DigiTech, etc. The good beginning of these new events predicts business expansion for the company. Since 1996, CIEC Exhibition Company (Hong Kong) Ltd. set up partnership with Messe Frankfurt. With mutual investigation and efforts made by the two companies, the world-famous ISH, Auto Mechanika and Ambiente have been successfully transplanted to the soil of China.

CIEC Exhibition Company (Hong Kong) Ltd. also acts as an agent for some important events held in China, i.e. CIMT, Metal + Metallurgy China. In addition to trade fairs, CIEC Exhibition Co. (HK) Ltd. also organizes international industrial conferences and wins praises from participants for high-quality organizing and service provided. The Chinese-European Congress on Heating Technology held in October 1999 in Beijing was an example.

A long history of co-operation has been maintained with international trade organizations and industrial associations such as EU , AEHI, VDMA, NPES, ICE, AIM, etc. The continuous support from these organizations and associations helps to maintain an extensive network for the events' promotion and guarantees official group pavilions in the exhibitions.
