We placed an order with BeaverHome on March 4, 2001. Sent a check for over $4800. After three months of badgering them they sent half the shipment with a promise of the rest delivered within the week. The rest of the wood never arrived. After over 20 phone calls I spoke with Neal Martin the owner, who bragged about keeping people waiting over a year for delivery. He offered a lesser grade wood which I declined. He shipped it any way. It took me over a month to get them to remove it from my home. It has been 8 months and they never completed my order.

After much searching, I found someone at the Attorney General's Office in Buffalo who is investigating BeaverHome/Martin Woods. They have over 60 complaints agaist this company.I had been told that their practice of holding checks and orders to accrue interest on our money is not legal. Call NYS Consumer Affairs and file your complaint with them.
