(if you have concrete floor the only good method is to scrap off with paint scraper)If you putting in new flooring like carpet it doesn't have to be completely removed, you will see some discoloring from where it was. Hardwood is differnet story. It is best to do what you can and let a professional do the rest. Nothing worse than ruining your floor for life because you didn't know how to sand it the right way.Using stripping products are not recomd. Ever!You could end up with a bigger project than you expected too.
