Hi Bob.
There is an article by Ray Thompson in Nov. '97 issue
of Western Floors and Eastern Floors magazines. The article,
"Why Some Construction Adhesives Cause Yellowing in Resilient
Floors", discusses the effects of a chemical known as BHT,
which can actually penetrate the subfloor and underlayment to
eventually dissolve into the floor covering. A few parts per
million are visible as yellowing to the naked eye!
So, who told you the problem was related to the subfloor and
and how was that determined?
