It has been my experience that there are 2 major causes of yellowing of vinyl floorcovering: moisture and UV exposure. Excessive moisture usually manifests itself when vinyl is installed on concrete and may appear in blotches here and there. UV yellowing typically occurs in front of a sliding glass door, for example.
