: The chips are no larger then .5" in size, the floor that I got the idea from had two colors of white and blue. As far as the imperfections, the basement is in a old house, the floor has small dips, a couple of cracks that I filled a couple of years ago that are holding up well. I may go with a self leveling cement before putting down the floor. thanks for any information. Beau
