we had the exact same problem with our 65 pound male dog. he has behavioral issues, not bladder issues. we replaced our carpet with Wilsonart Estate laminate and even after urine sat under a throw rug for a few hours it came up easily with no seepage between planks. Wilsonart Estate is very expensive but highly durable when properly installed. It is beautiful, too.
