I'm curious about something though, since Europeans invented laminates, and most laminates are made in European countries, why are people over here not as up on European brands? I'm not trying to be difficult, just making an observation.
Good observation, Well, Pergo is a good product, it just so happens though, that Lowes does not carry the highest end which is called Pergo Select. Pergo Select has been #1 in consumer reports for 3 years running. Plus big box stores do not usually get the premium service that other specialty stores might get. I see the rep a few times a month. I wonder how often the big box stores see them.
Pergo is no worse than any other top brand, but some other brands may have bells and whistles that would work better for some individule.
8 years and I have not had any unusuall problems with Pergo at all.
