: Thanks, Peggy. I had no idea this was even an option! I will reseach the website you posted.
: My only concern is that concrete may be too cold in the winter? We use the lower level for a TV room. I suppose I could put down area rugs...
: Thanks!
: : : My 60-lb male dog is ruining the carpeting in front of our slider door downstairs in the lower level of our townhome! I clean the urine stains as quickly as possible (with enzyme solution, spot cleaner, and regular shampooing), but I'm quickly loosing the battle -- the downstairs room is starting to smell bad, which I can't tolerate.
: : : Obviously I need to replace the carpet (er..., some would say ditch the dog, but I'm too attached to get rid of him!). I just don't know what flooring is best for my situation. The lower level carpeting is on a cement floor, and the room is very cool in the winter. I would love to have new carpet, but realize that probably won't work. I was very seriously considering Congoleum DuraCeramic tiles, until I read so many neagative things about the inferior glue and corner chipping that seems all to comon with that type of tile.
: : : Would tile with grout be best for me? (and my dog.) I want to find the most durable product; something that will hold up to liquid spills and won't stain...
: : : Thanks!!!
