: : We are contemplating using Fiberock as vinyl underlayment over wood subfloor in a large senior facility. Any cautions, problems, "don'ts"? Have heard rumors of a lawsuit involving this product, having to do with adhesives for vinyl. Comments? Thanks in advance.

: I may be wrong, but I think it has a higher content of gypsum in it. We all know gypsum will grow mold, and adhesives don't like the alkaline levels gypsum has. Alkaline will eat adhesives.

I would be interested in knowing what lawsuits are pending and where i can get a copy of anything pertaining to them. We have had several jobs that have peaked. Since then they have changed the product. DO NOT trust their BS warranty.
