The most common glue for for flooring is a PVA II (PVA Type2) The European designation is D-3 if I recall. That does not mean that all PVA II is created equal. It does mean that Mannington is supporting a product that they are confident of and profiting from. Of course Mannington does not make glue, neither does its competitors. That said, don't surrender your warrantee for a couple of bucks.
