The tile is ceramic and the pattern doesn't go all the way through the tile and so they have ugly edges. We are wondering about what to do with the edge of the step. Either way you butt the tile to each other there is the ugly side showing. My husband is concerned that if we just grout it the grout won't hold up to the wear. I was thinking that the grout would come out at a 45 degree angle and the wear would still be on the tile. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
