The house I just bought is covered in a tan colored porcelain tile. I would like to replace the carpet in the living room with porelain. The tile is no longer available....I have looked and researched everywhere. Any suggestions? Would it look bad to use another type of tile in a contrasting color? I would like wood, but I have 2 large dogs and I am afraid their nails would damage it and it would scratch too easily. I am also a little concerned about some aspects of laminate, although I might go that way. Thanks for any suggestions.
