My husband installed a glueless laminate floor through all of the main traffic areas in our home. The floor was great all winter, now it makes popping sounds, like bubble wrap. We live in Alaska where it gets very wet in the the spring and summer. Frozen in the winter. We also have forced air heat coming up through ducts in the the floor. The floor is most noisy when it is cold. We did let it aclimate before installation. Any ideas or suggestions? We are thinking of pulling it up and installing ceramic tile. The house we live in is old and we are renovating it, new subfloors ect. We have exposed beams and the house seems to settle all the time. The beams move. WOW, a for sale sign is sounding good after reading what I just typed.....
