I am putting in a new floor in a small bathroom. I am considering either synthetic sisal which looks sort of like a textured vinyl or a rubber, and tile combo. The base is concrete. I plan a design (pattern) floor. Has anyone used either of these products in a bathroom type area. I originally planned to use 1 inch mosiac tile but I can't seem to get small quantities that I can see to make a pattern. I also started considering the slip factor of tile which may be too high for my kids. I have done mosiac and vinyl before it looks like the installation is comparable for these products.
