: I have a 360sq ft concrete slab. About 100 sq ft of which is not level to about 1/4 to 1/2 in below the rest of the slab. I have purchased a self-leveling agent, but I am unsure as to how to apply it. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Is it a portland based float or a gypsum based float?

Mixing is crucial. Too wet and it cracks. Too dry and it doesn't flow. You need to grind the high spots and screed the low spots with your leveler.
