I cannot decide between travertine and ceramic tiles for our kitchen, laundry and entry areas. My husband likes the travertine because there would be virtually no grout lines. He thinks ceramic will be hard to keep clean. A friend has the travertine and it has cracks and looks dull wherever it is walked on. I have been unable to find any information comparing the qualities of the two types of tile.
