To whom it May Concern:
Hello, My name is Jack Keener and I
am a graduate student at Humboldt State university in Arcata California.
I am enrolled in the Environmental Systems program with an emphasis in
International Development and Technology. It is a program that specializes
in the sustainable integration of a people’s traditional value system with
new technology. My emphasis is water and wastewater treatment systems along
with microcredit/microfinance applications being the topic of my thesis.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Botany in the fall of 1997. I am the
oldest son of a migrant farm worker and the only person in my family to
graduate from high school much less college. I have an undying commitment
to the redevelopment of Latino communities around the world. I feel these
communities are in great need of information and people who are willing
to help them redevelop their communities. I am currently developing a plan
of action for the initiation of micro-credit banking systems in urban and
rural Latino communities. I plan to continue applying, to the best of my
ability, the new knowledge base that I have developed here and in the past.
I am writing this cover letter in the most general of terms. This is not
intended to be a specific application for employment at any one facility
or company. If any of you who read this feel that I am an individual who
you think is capable fulfilling any need to you may have please feel free
to contact me at my home or through my E-mail address. Thank you for your
time and patience.
