Programs
  o  Conducted site visits to six rural communities in Oaxaca, Mexico.
  o  Examined operations of and participation in community -initiated
     development projects.
  o  Interviewed members of the community regarding project impacts.
  o  Met with community groups and local NGOs to discuss new project
     proposals.

Preliminary Assessment of Monte Verde Conservation League-HSU partnership
  o  Conducted needs assessment of an intentional community in Monte
     Verde, Costa Rica.
  o  Assessed integration of project research station with affected

  o  Evaluated prospective MCL-HSU academic association, based on needs of
