Illuminated Sculpture

Pacific Coast Leaf Series "Leaves of Trees" Hard-wired wall sconces, these illuminated sculptures capture the essential natural patterns of each species. Every leaf is hammered and formed by hand, using traditional techniques like "chasing and repousse". Each piece is placed into a bowl of pitch and tar and hammered on both sides with a series of different punches. Available as limited editions, which can be commissioned singly or in matched right and left curved pairs, with various patinas and scaled up or down in various sizes.
