Downloading Software

The procedure for downloading software with your Web browser is covered in the Humboldt Internet Tutorial. It is important that you read the appropriate section of the Tutorial before you download software.

If you are using the web browser provided on the Humboldt Internet startup disk, you can download any of the software from the links below. However, once the download is complete you will be prompted that you don't have the appropriate helper application to view the file. It is very important that you choose the "Save" or "Save to Disk" button, in order to save the file you've just downloaded. You will then be asked where to save the file. Pick a directory and make sure that the name you give the file is the name of the file you're downloading.
