Double Logins

During peak internet hours, 7pm to 11pm Sundays through Thursdays, in order to keep users from using more than their share of modems, Humboldt Internet runs a program to prevent double logins. A double login occurs when a non-ISDN user is logged into two different modems with the same login name at the same time. If a non-ISDN user is dialed into two different modems at the same time for a 15-minute span, the user will be disconnected and emailed a notice explaining the disconnection.

If you are concerned about double logins on your account, or if you need to have more than one computer connected with the same account during those times you may want to consider adding a second account. If this is something you would like to do, or if you have any questions about double logins, please contact us at 825-4638 or info@humboldt1.com.
