The above picture is of myself and Gian Pauletto attemping a Glorious crossing of Humboldt Bay on the second day of the 1990 Great Arcata to Ferndale World Championship Kinetic Sculpture Race in the Padilac, an all terrain including sand, water, and road, human powered vehicle. The Padilac is now renamed the Ecocycle and has been owned and operated by  Campus Recycling Program  of Humboldt State University in Arcata, Ca USA. The Ecocycle has been in operation since Spring 1991. For some more pics of the Padilac and a little description click here.
