We're back! We had a blast and here are the photos to prove it!
We finished in last place, but we were the only team to come back
from devastating destruction EVERY day. We named our craft "Ramshackle" and it fit! We might as well start this off with a photo of our truck... ugh ...ready for technical work!

Even though our machine "BOB" had his front wheel broken off in the practice session, we pulled together with help from members of the other teams and got it ready for the next day!

So we could bowl...

And do the tug-o-war...

And try to drive over a wooden car. HEY! That was a skinny ramp and if you hit it hard enough, it would bounce you to the right! Damn, but we made it the second try...

The reason our truck was flipped on it's side, was because this is what they call a jack, and they only had one...

If we weren't working on the truck or racing, we were blending in with the locals, can you find us?

We also had a little trouble with our throw out bearing. With enough know how (thanks Toby) and the kinetic will to make it happen, we were able to keep going. It only took a day of chasing down odd parts, work shops and manufacturing a part that didn't exist in China. We did WIN 1st place in the obstacle course. Ken did JUMP the teeter-totter and magically removed his helmet on impact, er, landing. Maybe someone will send a photo soon, for now here is our lovely machine, cruizin'...

A few decals had been applied before we arrived in China, here we are removing them before we go on a fun PARADE around the city of Dezhou! A great time for everyone...

Here's a quick look at the Chineese fire department...

And here we are drinking a big green bottle of something that wasn't Champagne. Tasty! And the fun was over, for now...

See what we did BEFORE we went to China.
