Aloha Bird of Paradise Species Interest Committee Members,

tropical break
Hopefully,
all of you received the results of the BOPSIC meeting in Phoenix by fax from me last week. In it I mentioned that there will be another BOPSIC meeting in New York in July in conjunction with the Gallifomes TAG meeting. The committee felt that it was necessary to do further planning and assess our accomplishments so far.

I heard back from a few of you and everyone that responded indicated that it would be better to meet on the afternoon of July 9th as opposed to the evening of July 10th. So, it is official now, the meeting of the BOPSIC will be held on the afternoon of July 9th at the Bronx Zoo.
Paradise in New York
Most likely the times will be 1:00 PM til ? (til we get everything accomplished, I suppose). If you are planning on joining us for this meeting please let me know. If you cannot attend, but would like to have input, contact me with your thoughts and concerns and I will add them to the agenda.
e-mail goinge-mail gone

If you have an email address but haven't received an email from me it is because I don't have your address. Please send me an email at jamo@hgea.org and I will add your address to our list. I encourage anyone who does not have email to sign up for it. It is the quickest and most efficient way for us to communicate. All you need is a computer with a modem. If cost is a factor, you can get email through Juno'stm Internet Free E-mail Service. If you would like to access Juno's free email service, call or fax me and I will send you information and the software. If you have a friend that has internet access you can download the software yourself. (Click here if you'd like to go to Juno.com - It is very easy.....and best of all it is free!)
