This is my last article as your Leading Knight and my first article as your Exalted Ruler Elect.   First I would like to thank our outgoing Exalted Ruler,  Chad Olson, for all the help and support that he has given me and the Lodge over the past year.  Next, I would like to thank all our members for supporting me and our major project the Purple Pig.  We had a very successful year and I really enjoyed doing the fund raising including cooking dinners and 50/50 raffles.  The total contribution to the fund may reach $16,000 and we have the “Fishing Trip” fund raiser to complete.  The “Fishing Trip” raffle tickets are a available until May and can be purchased from me or any officer of the lodge.  You can also call the office to purchase tickets. 

I will be officially handing over the Purple Pig duties to Donald Ziegenfuss on April 1st.…….no foolin!  Also on April 1st I will be transitioning from your Leading Knight to Exalted Ruler and I’m very excited.  Our officer core this year is wonderful and I’m honored to be a part of the group.  We have been practicing diligently every week for the Ritual Competition and plan to take FIRST PLACE in Lakeport April 30th. 

I have many fun events planned for the coming year and I would like to see all of our projects in the works completed.  I will be working with committees and Lodge members to complete the tasks at hand.  Remember our Lodge is a great place to hang out with your friends and family.  My theme for the 2005 -2006 year is “Good Vibes in 05”, so come on out to our Lodge and join me in a great year.
